2. The 2026 Global Conference will be held at the Westin River North in Chicago, August 16-20, 2026

2026년 8월에 미국 시카고에서 개최되는 미국원자력학회(ANS)가 후원하는 지속가능한 핵연료주기에 대한 "2026 Global Conference"입니다.

Global is a series of international conferences covering whole aspects of nuclear technology including the front end and back end of the fuel cycle and reactor systems. Topics include advanced nuclear fuel cycles, advanced reactors, novel uses of nuclear technology, fuel and waste management, safety, safeguards and nonproliferation, security (both physical and cyber), economics, institutional and legal aspects, consent-based siting, environmental remediation and decommissioning, and workforce training. Global was first initiated in 1993 and rotates every 2 years between the U.S., Asia, and Europe. The 2026 Global Conference will be held at the Westin River North in Chicago, August 16-20, 2026 and sponsored by the American Nuclear Society. The theme of the 2026 Global Conference is “Deploying Sustainable Nuclear Fuel Cycles.” With the many new developments in nuclear over the past decade, we look forward to an exciting and productive conference!
